How New Products Get Chosen

Three things decide whether something makes it in. First, whether it is traditional to Tamil Nadu or South India, because that is where the brand's knowledge sits and where sourcing relationships already exist. Second, whether we can get it clean, meaning no refined sugar, no artificial colour, no preservative and no filler. Third, whether there is a real reason to eat it, either a specific nutrition benefit or a direct replacement for something processed. Products that only pass one or two of those tests do not get made.

What Tends to Appear Here

Recent additions have run across formats rather than one category. Sachet and single serve versions of existing bestsellers, driven by requests from customers who wanted travel and lunch box options. Refill packs on the fastest moving milk mixes, which reduce packaging and cost per serve. Seasonal items around summer cooling and cold and cough season.
